Terms of Service

1. Age verification and eligibility

You must be at least 21 years of age to browse, register for, or purchase from this website. By placing an order you confirm that you are 21 or over, that the recipient is 21 or over, and that you are not purchasing for resale or for anyone under 21. We verify age at delivery and reserve the right to verify it earlier.

2. Products and availability

All products are subject to availability. Rare and allocated releases are offered in strictly limited quantities and may sell out between the time you add an item to your bag and the time you complete checkout. Where an ordered item is unavailable we will contact you and refund in full.

3. Pricing

Prices are shown in United States dollars and exclude applicable state and local taxes, which are calculated at checkout. We do not run promotional discounting on allocated bottles. If a price is listed in error we will contact you before processing and you may cancel without charge.

4. Orders and acceptance

Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we dispatch the goods. We may refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including where we suspect resale, where quantity limits have been exceeded, where an address cannot lawfully be served, or where we believe the purchaser to be intoxicated or under 21.

5. Delivery

Delivery terms, timings and state restrictions are set out on our shipping page and form part of these terms. An adult signature is required on every delivery. Title and risk pass to you on delivery.

6. Returns

Our returns and refunds terms are set out on our returns page and form part of these terms. Opened bottles cannot be returned.

7. Responsible service

We sell alcohol and we take that seriously. We will refuse service where we reasonably believe a sale would be unlawful or unsafe. Nothing on this website is intended to encourage excessive or irresponsible consumption.

8. Intellectual property

All content on this website, including text, photography, illustration, logos and layout, is owned by or licensed to Velmont Bourbon House and may not be reproduced without written permission. Product names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

9. Accuracy of content

Tasting notes are subjective and offered as guidance. Proof, age and mash bill details are published as supplied by the distillery. Barrel-to-barrel variation is inherent in single barrel and barrel proof whiskey and is not a defect.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability arising from any order is limited to the value of that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, and the courts of Kentucky have exclusive jurisdiction.

12. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force is the one published here on the date you place your order.
