Accessibility

We want every collector to be able to use this shop, whatever device or assistive technology they use.

Our commitment

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. Accessibility is treated as part of design here, not a retrofit.

What we have built in

  • A visible skip link to the main content on every page.
  • Semantic landmarks and a single, logical heading order per page.
  • Full keyboard operability, including the navigation, predictive search, quick view and slide-out bag, all of which close on the Escape key.
  • Visible focus indicators that meet contrast requirements.
  • Descriptive alternative text on product and editorial imagery, and decorative images marked as such.
  • Body and interface text that meets or exceeds a 4.5:1 contrast ratio against its background.
  • Form fields with programmatically associated labels and clear error messaging.
  • Reduced-motion support: animations are disabled automatically when your system requests it.
  • Layouts that reflow to 320 pixels wide without loss of content or horizontal scrolling.

Known limitations

Some third-party components — payment iframes and embedded social content — are outside our direct control. Where we find a barrier in one, we look for an accessible alternative.

Tell us about a barrier

If something on this site prevents you from doing what you came to do, please tell us. Email sales@velmontbourbonhouse.com or call (270) 220-5347 and describe the page and the problem. We treat accessibility reports as priority bugs, and we will always help you complete an order by phone in the meantime.
