Who we are

What we collect

• Order information. Name, billing and delivery address, email address, telephone number and order contents.
• Payment information. Processed directly by our payment providers. We never see or store full card numbers.
• Age confirmation. A record that you confirmed you are 21 or over.
• Account information. If you create an account, your login credentials in hashed form and your order history.
• Technical information. IP address, browser type and pages viewed, used to keep the site secure and working.
• Marketing preferences. Your email address and consent status if you join the allocation list.

Why we use it

To take and fulfil your order, to verify age as the law requires, to provide customer support, to prevent fraud, to meet our tax and alcohol-licensing obligations, and — only with your consent — to tell you about rare releases.

Who we share it with

Only with parties who need it to deliver your order: our payment processors, our shipping carriers, and our IT and email providers. We require each of them to protect your information and to use it only for the purpose we specify. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

Cookies

We use cookies that are strictly necessary to run the shop, remember your bag and keep your session secure. Any analytics or marketing cookies are set only where you have consented, and you can withdraw consent at any time in your browser settings.

How long we keep it

Order and tax records are retained for seven years as required by law. Marketing consent records are kept until you unsubscribe, plus a short period to evidence the withdrawal. Account data is deleted on request unless we are required to retain it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, to opt out of marketing, and to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information. To exercise any of these rights, email sales@velmontbourbonhouse.com. We will not discriminate against you for asking.

Security

The site is served over TLS, payment pages are handled by PCI-compliant processors, and access to customer data inside the business is limited to staff who need it.

Children

This site is not directed at anyone under 21 and we do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we make material changes to this policy we will post the updated version here and, where appropriate, notify you by email.
