Whiskey: Ezra Brooks Straight Rye This is a straight rye whiskey from Ezra Brooks, a long-running American whiskey brand. Excellent for enjoying in a Manhattan. Size: 750ML Proof: 90 (45% ABV) Origin: United States Distillery: Lux Row Distillers Ezra Brooks Straight Rye was added to the Ezra Brooks family of whiskeys in early 2017. This straight rye whiskey is distilled in Indiana and is made from a mash bill of 95% rye and 5% malted barley. It is aged in new, charred American oak barrels before being bottled at 90 proof. This rye whiskey bears no-age statement. Ezra Brooks Straight Rye Whiskey Tasting Notes Nose: Vanilla, cedar, white pepper and some earthy rye spices. Palate: Layers of white chocolate and fudge, with more of those characteristic rye notes floating through. Finish: Apricot and banana chips, with a touch of honey. Distillery Information With over 18,000 square feet, 6 barrel warehouses at capacity and a 43-foot custom copper still, Lux Row Distillers is capable of producing 3 million gallons of spirit per year. When fully complete we will have the composite to process 50 thousand barrels of whiskey annually.
