Tequila: Gran Centenario Reposado A classic reposado aged around six months in white oak barrels. This is exactly how reposado should be, with a smooth body and balanced, pure agave flavours. Size: 750ML Proof: 80 (40% ABV) Origin: Mexico Distillery: Hacienda Los Camichines Gran Centenario is a brand that was founded by Lazaro Gallardo in the late 1800s. This reposado is made from 10-12 year old agave grown in Los Altos, Jalisco and aged 6 months in charred, new French Limousin oak barrels. Fun fact: the bottle depicts an angel who is thought to keep a watchful eye on the agave growing in the fields. Gran Centenario Reposado Tequila Tasting Notes Nose: The contact with the charred oak manifests in a spicy, peppery style of reposado with a delightfully smoky kick. Palate: Chili peppers and cinnamon spice fan out a bit on the palate to reveal vegetal and tropical fruity notes. Finish: A well-rounded, pleasant earthy finish.
